Dream Spaces: Construction, Assemblage, and Collage with Kristi Nyhan (adults)
Dream Spaces: Construction, Assemblage, and Collage with Kristi Nyhan
One-day workshop
Date: Saturday, November 21
Time: 10 am to 3 pm
Inspired by the Currier's exhibition Pepe Mar: Dream House, this imaginative workshop invites participants to create an eclectic mixed-media artwork inspired by memory, imagination, and personal storytelling. Beginning with a special exhibition tour led by Currier Curator Anastasia Kinigopoulo, participants will explore collage, assemblage, and sculpture through layered materials, found objects, and expressive techniques to construct their own dream-inspired works of art. Participants are encouraged to bring meaningful found objects or treasured keepsakes to incorporate into their creations; all other materials will be provided.
