Discover the expressive possibilities of soft pastel in this welcoming, hands-on workshop inspired by the abstract color field paintings of Jules Olitski! Through guided demonstrations and creative exercises, students will enjoy experimenting with layering, blending, and color relationships to create abstract moods, atmosphere, and depth. Designed for adults of all artistic backgrounds, this workshop encourages creative exploration and personal expression, with all materials provided for use during class time.

Tuition Refund and Rescheduling Policies

Full tuition must accompany your application for registration (with the exception of students applying for tuition assistance.) Refund requests due to student withdrawal are granted up to three weeks before the class/workshop begins. A $25 non-refundable registration fee will be charged to students refunded. Tuition and fees will not be transferred to another term. A full refund will be granted to students whose class/workshop is canceled due to insufficient enrollment.
